1969 - Graduated Nutley High School

69 - 71: University of Rochester, dropped out after 2 1/2 years.

72 - 72: Hitchhiked West/South/North/East, visited (among other places) San Francisco, San Diego, Ensanada Mexico, Vancouver, Toronto, Black Hills of South Dakota, Colorado, Boston, New Orleans, Houston traveling mainly by thumb. Hitched cross country East/West twice in both directions.

73 - 78: Kauai, Hawaii: Lived in tents, shacks or rental houses, worked (some of the time) as a dishwasher, gardener, tour guide, construction worker and house painter.

1974: Married Monica Dostal of Rochester, NY.

78 - 79: Stockbridge School of Architecture, Amherst, Mass. Transferred after 1 year to UMASS.

1979. Divorced from Monica Dostal, no kids.

80 - 82: UMASS/Amherst, graduated with BS in Plant and Soil Sciences.

August 82: Married Ann Hendrick, we both changed out last names to Taurick (Taub + Hendrick).

Sept. 82 - 87: Graduate school at Cornell, received Ph.D. in Plant Breeding.

July 83: Maggie Taurick was born.

June 87: Phoebe Taurick was born.

July 87 - Dec. 97: Worked for Ferry-Morse Seed Company in Sun Prairie, WI as squash/cucumber breeder.

Jan 99 - present: Work for Harris Moran Seed Company in Sun Prairie, WI as cucumber breeder.
