40th REUNION

“OUR TIME”

Franklin     Holy Family     St. Mary’s

You are invited to a joint reunion of the three Nutley 8th grade graduating classes of 1965.  We decided to bring the three schools together to create a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us to talk, and hopefully laugh together about our past, present and future. We know our short-term memory is quickly deteriorating; hopefully, our long term will still be working for a while. The main event will be held at the:

on Saturday, October 22nd at seven o’clock in the evening.  Featured will be the famous Cucina Calandra Buffet Dinner, along with a cash bar, and the best oldies DJ in New Jersey.  The cost is $75.00 per person.  Checks should be made payable to “1965 Nutley 8th Grade Reunion,” and mailed to:

We are also extending the reunion to include the entire weekend to give us more time to enjoy each other’s company. The host hotel features a great lounge with piano player and restaurant. Additional events also being planned at this time include a golf tournament on Friday, a Nutley walking and schools tour on Saturday, and possibly a trip to New York on Sunday.

Saturday, October 22: Walking tour of Nutley (start 12:00PM at Holy Family School) Directions
In case of inclement weather: Plan B is a drive and stop tour. Same meeting
place and time. One of the stops will be at Nutley High, which the club
donated $500.00 to restore the courtyard. I have been told the School will
be open to visitors Saturday. We will stop at one of Nutley's fine taverns
for refreshment along the way.
