Patricia Ann (Carlucci)
Pucci, 56, of Nutley, died Monday, May 7, 2007 at her home
after a long battle with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. She lived most of
her life in Nutley. Mrs. Pucci earned her B.A. in mathematics and an
M.A. in computer science from Montclair State University and worked as a
Senior Systems Analyst with Prudential Insurance Co. of America. Mrs.
Pucci was active with the Nutley American Little League, the Women’s
Volleyball League and the Nutley Crew Boosters.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Pucci; two sons, Thomas
Jr. and Daniel and her mother Gerry (Sibilia) Carlucci. She is the
daughter-in-law of Charles and Jenny Pucci. She is also survived by her
sister, Lucille Palmieri and her companion Mike Parker; her brother,
Ronald Carlucci and his wife Marianne; her sister-in-law, Bev Fiorentino
and her fiancée Dave Vollaro, her brothers-in-law, Russell Pucci and his
wife Peg and Fred Pucci and his wife Sharon, many nieces and nephews, a
great-nephew and many friends. She was pre-deceased by her father,
Pasquale Carlucci.
The funeral will be Thursday 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral
Home, with a mass celebrated at
Holy Family Church, Nutley at 9:30
a.m.
The entombment will follow at
Holy Cross Mausoleum in No. Arlington.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m.

Emergency & Rescue Squad, PO Box 172, Nutley, NJ, 07110, or the

Gary Milano, Senior sales vice president, 56, of Stamford, Conn., passed away late Tuesday morning in
Stamford Hospital. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Megaro Memorial Home, 503 Union Ave., Belleville,
www.megaromemorialhome.com. A Funeral Mass
will be offered Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Nutley.
Beginning his career at the entry level of the United States Smokeless
Corporation, Mr. Milano earned his way to the position of senior vice
president of sales after 30 years. He worked in several locations for the
company, including Illinois, where the Milano family built a strong home and
lifelong friends in Batavia. In North Carolina, he became head of
operations, and finally worked at the company’s headquarters in Greenwich,
Conn. Although Mr. Milano was battling leukemia, he attended a national
sales conference last week in Florida. Even with a busy career, he made time
to be a coach, spend holidays in New Jersey, and be a mentor to his sons.
Mr. Milano leaves his loving and always supportive wife, Flo (nee Ferrara);
sons, Anthony and Robert; father, Dominick; a brother, Don, and loved ones
from coast to coast. His mother, Elsie, passed away in 2000. In lieu of

Joyce M. DeLuca Hastick, 55,
died Aug. 24, 2005. Born in Passaic, she lived in Passaic, Nutley and
Highland Lakes before moving to Bloomingdale six years ago. Ms. Hastick was
employed as a space technologist for Acosta Sales and Marketing in
Hackensack for the past three years. She is survived by one son, Alexander
III, of Rossville, Ga.; daughter, Stacey Sondervan, Hamburg; one brother,
Nicholas DeLuca Jr., of Toms River; one sister, Marty Mullen, of Bayville;
her mother, Mary Burek DeLuca, of Bayville and five grandchildren. Funeral
services Saturday, 8 a.m., at the SHOOK FUNERAL HOME, 639 Van Houten Ave.,
Clifton and 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary
Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting, Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of

Pete Siner,
1951-2004...
We're sad to report the passing of Pete Siner, 52, of 21900 Lowcountry
Highway, on Thursday, August 26, 2004, at Trident Medical Center in
Charleston, S.C. Funeral services will be held at 7 o'clock, Tuesday, August
31, 2004, in The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.
Interment will be held at a later date in Memorial Gardens, Fort Myers,
Florida. Mr. Siner was born October 10, 1951, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, and
was a son of the late Howard W. Siner and Mildred Rogers Siner. He was a
property manager with Gressette Properties, and was also an accountant and
licensed electrician. He held an associates degree in accounting. He was a
former vice president of Cape Coral Jr. Football Association and also
coached the Dolphins team for 16 years. He was an avid fisherman. He was a
loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a great love for his family,
and he also loved the town and people of Ruffin. Surviving are: his wife,
Sarah Clesson Siner of Ruffin; sons, Chris Siner of Immokalee, Florida, and
Kevin Siner of Cape Coral, Florida; daughter, Meredith Siner of Cape Coral,
Florida; grandson, C.J. Siner of Immokalee, Florida; brothers, Howard Siner
of New York City, New York and Charles Siner of Seattle, Washington; and
nephew, Drew Tait of Cape Coral, Florida. Flowers will be accepted, or
memorial donations may be made to: Cape Coral Jr. Football Association.

Gerard S. Kowal,
1951-2004...
It is with deep regret that we learned of the passing of our fellow
Nutleyite Gerry Kowal, on June 4, 2004. He is survived by his parents, Helen
(Sikora) and the late Stanley Kowal, and sisters Karole Milch and Kathleen
Kowal. Friends will be received for a gathering of remembrance Saturday,

Eileen Cullinane Mixon, 1951-2003...
1965 St. Mary's School grad and 1969 Nutley High grad Eileen
Cullinane Mixon succumbed to breast cancer on Saturday, May 4th, in Apple
Valley, MN. Eileen leaves behind her husband David, sons Brian and Sean,
sisters Kathleen Ross, Nancy Varettoni, and Mary Cofone, brother Michael
Cullinane, and mother Anne Cullinane of 63 Nutley Avenue, Nutley, NJ 07110.
Eileen was an honors graduate of Rutgers University and a certified property
and casualty underwriter. During a 30-year career in the insurance industry,
Eileen held many key management positions, most recently as Assistant Vice
President of Underwriting Services in U.S. Insurance Operations for The St.
Paul Companies. Funeral to be held at 11am Thursday, May 15 at MARY, MOTHER
OF THE CHURCH, 3333 E. Cliff Rd., Burnsville, MN. Visitation Wed. 4-8PM at
WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 14560 Pennock Ave., Apple Valley 952-432-2001. A

Bob Galasso 1951-2002...
It is with deep regret that we learned of the passing of our fellow Nutley
Half Century Club member Bob Galasso. Bob died on January 6, 2002. Bob was a
widower and he leaves three sons. Twins Anthony and Dean, age 14, reside in
Monmouth Junction with Bob's sister Laura Galasso-Coons, and the youngest
son, Bobby, age 9, lives with Bob's sister Donna Russo in Hasbrouck Heights.
Bob and his family lived in Florence, South Carolina, and he was employed by
Roche-Carolina. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in late January of 2001
and he died on January 6th, 2002.

Dennis Voyski
1951-2001...
Just learned today that Dennis Voyski (NHS Class of 69) passed away on
Friday, 28 December 2001. Attached is the obituary from The
Star-Ledger. Dennis had suffered from Multiple Sclerosis. If anyone would
